পরিকল্পনা কি (What is Planning)

পরিকল্পনাকে নিম্নোক্তভাবে সঙ্গায়িত করা যায়ঃ

১) পরিকল্পনা হচ্ছে ভবিষ্যতের আকৃতি প্রদানের একটি প্রচেষ্টা (Planning is an attempt to shape the future)

 ২) নির্দিষ্ট লক্ষ্য অর্জনের জন্য সচেতনভাবে ভবিষ্যতের ক্রমবিকাশের প্রক্রিয়াই হলো পরিকল্পনা (Planning is the process of consciously developing a sequence of future actions to achieve specified goals)

                                                                           
৩) সম্পদের সর্বোত্তম ব্যবহারের মাধ্যমে সর্বাধিক সম্ভাব্য উন্নয়নের একটি অনুশীলন হলো পরিকল্পনা    ( An exercise to make best use of resources available to attain maximum possible development)

৪) একটি নির্দিষ্ট ভৌগোলিক এলাকার জন্য নির্দিষ্ট সময়সীমার মধ্যে সীমিত সম্পদ ব্যবহারের মাধ্যমে  লক্ষ্য অর্জনের  একটি সর্বাধিক প্রচেষ্টা (A deliberate conscious effort at attaining certain pre-set goals with the use of limited resources over a period of time for a particular geographic area)

Duration	Nature
Long term (15/20 years)	প্রেক্ষাপটে পরিকল্পনা (Perspective Plan)
Medium term (5 or 2/3 years)	কৌশলগত পরিকল্পনা/রোলিং প্ল্যান (Strategic Plan/Rolling Plan)
Short term (1 year)	বার্ষিক উন্নয়ন পরিকল্পনা/প্রোগ্রাম (Annual Development Plan/Program)
